Kenneth
M.:
Nominally fiction:
"Cryptonomicon"
by Neal Stephenson
Probably worth more than one reading, but it's definitely worth once.
The worst part of the book is that when you're done reading it, you'll
be sitting on the edge of your seat waiting for Stephenson to release
his next book, whenever and whatever that will be.
Non-fiction:
"The Map That Changed The World: William Smith and the Birth of
Modern Geology" by Simon Winchester
A readable biography of the man and his interests that became a science.
